Key Responsibilities:

• Process financial transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts.
• Prepare financial reports, such as balance sheets and income statements.
• Assist with the budgeting and forecasting process.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends and patterns.
• Create and maintain financial spreadsheets.
• Prepare journal entries and ensure proper classification of financial transactions.
• Perform account reconciliations to identify and resolve discrepancies.
• Assist with the month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Research and stay up-to-date on accounting standards and regulations.
• Maintain accurate and complete accounting records in accordance with ACCA guidelines.
• Support the finance team with various accounting tasks as needed.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred).
• Minimum 1 year of experience in an accounting role (preferred).
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices (GAAP, IFRS).
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel).

Experience:

We are looking for candidates with a minimum of 1 year of experience in an accounting role.
