Summary

We are seeking a motivated and tech-savvy individual to join our dynamic Help Desk team. You will be the first point of contact for our customers experiencing technical difficulties or needing assistance with Airtel products and services. This role requires excellent communication and problem-solving skills, a genuine desire to help others, and a passion for technology.

Key Responsibilities

  • Answer phone calls and respond to emails from customers promptly, courteously, and professionally
  • Listen attentively to customer concerns and diagnose technical issues effectively
  • Troubleshoot a variety of technical problems related to mobile networks, broadband connections, data usage, and other Airtel services
  • Guide customers through solutions and provide clear instructions to resolve their technical issues
  • Escalate complex issues to the appropriate technical team when necessary
  • Document customer interactions and maintain accurate records of service requests and resolutions
  • Research technical knowledge base and stay up-to-date on Airtel products and services
  • Upsell and cross-sell Airtel products and services to enhance the customer experience (optional)
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in customer service or a technical support role (a plus)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (Hindi language proficiency a plus) with a clear and friendly tone
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically to identify and resolve technical issues
  • Proficient in computer skills and comfortable navigating various software programs (e.g., ticketing systems, knowledge base platforms)
  • Basic understanding of telecommunications concepts and technologies (a plus)
  • Positive attitude, a can-do spirit, and a passion for providing excellent customer service
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines
