• Recommend strategies for cost reduction and optimization to improve the bank's profitability.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date cost accounting records in accordance with accounting standards.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as finance, operations, and management, to gather cost data and provide financial insights.
• Stay up-to-date on cost accounting best practices and industry trends.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CA/CMA certification a plus).
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a cost accounting role (for experienced candidates).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in accounting principles, cost accounting methods, and financial analysis techniques.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel is essential).
• Knowledge of accounting software (e.g., SAP) is a plus.

Experience
