Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Auditor to join our dynamic internal audit team. You will be responsible for conducting comprehensive audits of various bank functions, identifying risks, and ensuring adherence to financial regulations. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles, auditing standards, and a keen eye for detail.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute audit plans for assigned areas, including branches, departments, and processes
• Conduct risk assessments to identify potential financial weaknesses and control breaches
• Perform test procedures to verify the accuracy and completeness of financial records
• Analyze financial data and transactions to identify irregularities and potential fraud
• Prepare comprehensive audit reports with findings, recommendations, and action plans
• Follow up on audit recommendations and monitor implementation of corrective actions
• Stay up-to-date on evolving accounting standards and regulatory requirements
• Maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism throughout the audit process
• Collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders and external auditors

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CA, CMA, or equivalent qualification a plus)
• Minimum 2 years of experience in internal auditing or a related role (preferred)
• In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, auditing standards, and internal control frameworks (SOX, COSO)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and assess financial risks
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) with strong data analysis skills

Experience
