Summary

As a Data Recovery Specialist at HAL, you'll play a vital role in safeguarding the company's critical digital assets. Key Responsibilities

• Respond to data loss incidents promptly, analyzing the situation to identify the root cause.
• Diagnose data loss issues using technical expertise and relevant diagnostic tools.
• Implement data recovery procedures to restore lost or corrupted data from various storage devices (hard drives, SSDs, servers).
• Utilize data recovery software and techniques to maximize the chances of successful recovery.
• Maintain and update data recovery knowledge to stay current with evolving technologies and recovery methods.
• Document data recovery procedures and maintain detailed records of all recovery attempts.
• Ensure the confidentiality and security of recovered data throughout the process.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (For freshers, strong academic performance in relevant subjects, demonstrably exceptional analytical skills, and a keen interest in data recovery will be considered).
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in data recovery or a similar technical role (For freshers, relevant internship experience or a strong portfolio showcasing personal data recovery projects can be considered).
• Strong understanding of data storage technologies, file systems, and data recovery principles.
• Proficiency in data recovery software and tools.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose complex technical issues.
• Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to data security and confidentiality.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with IT teams and stakeholders.

Experience

This role is open to both experienced data recovery professionals and enthusiastic fresh graduates. For experienced individuals, a minimum of 1 year of demonstrably successful experience in data recovery or a similar technical role is preferred. However, highly motivated recent graduates with a strong academic background, exceptional analytical skills, and a passion for learning will also be considered.
