Job Summary:

We're seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our dynamic accounting team. In this role, you'll be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring adherence to accounting principles, and supporting the preparation of financial statements. Key Responsibilities:

• Transaction Processing and Recording:
  • Process various financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
  • Ensure accurate and timely recording of all financial data in the bank's accounting system.
  • Reconcile bank statements and identify any discrepancies.
• Financial Reporting and Analysis:
  • Assist in the preparation of financial reports, such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide insights to management.
  • Support the month-end and year-end closing processes.
• General Accounting Tasks:
  • Maintain general ledgers and subsidiary ledgers.
  • Prepare and manage accounting schedules.
  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities.
  • Adhere to internal accounting controls and regulatory requirements.
• Collaboration and Communication:
  • Work effectively with other departments (e.g., credit, operations) to ensure accurate account information.
  • Communicate clearly and concisely with colleagues and management regarding financial matters.
  • Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with internal and external stakeholders.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Commerce, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Understanding of accounting principles and practices (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles - GAAP in India).
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally.ERP 9) is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
