Summary

As a Cyber Security Analyst, you'll be responsible for a comprehensive range of tasks to ensure the security of our data and systems. Your duties will encompass security monitoring, incident response, vulnerability management, and threat analysis. Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor security systems for suspicious activity and potential security incidents.
• Investigate and analyze security incidents, determining the root cause and scope of the breach.
• Respond to security incidents according to established procedures, containing threats and minimizing damage.
• Identify and prioritize vulnerabilities in our systems and applications.
• Perform security testing to assess the effectiveness of our security controls.
• Participate in vulnerability assessments and penetration testing activities.
• Implement and maintain security controls to mitigate identified risks.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest cyber threats and vulnerabilities.
• Develop and implement security policies and procedures.
• Provide security awareness training to employees.
• Document security incidents, investigations, and resolutions.
• Collaborate with IT and security teams to ensure a comprehensive security posture.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field (preferred).
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a cybersecurity analyst role (preferred).
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices (e.g., Security Essentials, Incident Response).
• Proficiency in security tools and technologies (e.g., SIEM, IDS/IPS, vulnerability scanners).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to learn new concepts and technologies quickly.

Experience:

We are looking for candidates with a minimum of 1 year of experience in a cybersecurity analyst role.
