Summary

As a Data Analyst at Tech Mahindra, you'll play a pivotal role in extracting valuable insights from data. You'll collaborate with various teams to gather, clean, analyze, and interpret data, transforming it into clear and concise reports and visualizations that inform strategic decision-making across the organization.

Your responsibilities will encompass the entire data analysis lifecycle, from understanding business requirements to collecting, manipulating, and analyzing data. You'll be a master of data mining techniques, statistical analysis, and data visualization tools, adept at uncovering hidden patterns and trends within complex datasets.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with business stakeholders to understand their data needs and translate them into actionable data analysis plans.
• Gather data from various sources, including internal databases, external feeds, and market research.
• Clean, organize, and prepare data for analysis, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
• Perform data analysis using statistical methods and data mining techniques to identify trends, patterns, and correlations.
• Develop clear and concise data visualizations (charts, graphs, dashboards) to effectively communicate insights to non-technical audiences.
• Generate data-driven reports and recommendations to support informed decision-making across the organization.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest data analysis tools, technologies, and industry best practices.
• Maintain a strong understanding of data security and privacy regulations.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, business analysts, and product managers.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field (For freshers, strong academic performance in relevant subjects, demonstrably exceptional analytical skills, and an eagerness to learn will be considered).
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in data analysis or a similar role (For freshers, relevant internship experience or a strong portfolio showcasing personal data analysis projects can be considered).
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and technologies (e.g., SQL, Python, R, Excel).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and solve complex data-driven problems.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate technical findings into clear and concise reports and visualizations for non-technical audiences.
• A keen eye for detail and a commitment to data accuracy and quality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Experience

This role is open to both experienced data analysts and enthusiastic fresh graduates. For experienced individuals, a minimum of 1 year of demonstrably successful experience in data analysis or a similar role is preferred. However, highly motivated recent graduates with a strong academic background, exceptional analytical skills, and a passion for data will also be considered.
